Overview

Lebanon wine tasting tour from Beirut, discover generations of winemakers and taste Lebanese red, rosé and white wines, while learning about each step of wine making. For this tour, we chose for you three wineries located in the bekaa valley, that together will give you an accurate idea of wine production in the Beqaa Valley.

What To Expect

Chateau St Thomas
We will then Continue to Chateau St. Thomas which was established in 1990 by Saïd Touma and his family on a hill overlooking the Bekaa valley, Château St Thomas estate is a vineyard spreading over sixty five hectares and a wine storehouse for fermentation and ageing.

Chateau Ksara
Second Visit Chateau ksara, the country’s oldest winery, began life in 1857 when Jesuit FATHERS inherited and began farming a 25 hectare plot of land to produce Lebanon’s first non-sweet red wine. In doing so they laid the foundations of Lebanon’s modern wine industry. Chateau Ksara Winery, which derives its name form having been a fortress, or ksar, during the Crusades. Today the site is a winery which makes a variety of wines, ranging from red, sweet, dry white, and rosé, and even Arak, the national Lebanese drink.
